On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an updated list including 93 countries whose citizens can travel to Thailand visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival, allowing them to stay for up to 60 days. This announcement is part of Thailand’s efforts to boost tourism and facilitate entry for visitors from around the world.
The countries included are divided into the following categories:
- 57 countries previously eligible for visa exemption can now receive a 60-day entry stamp upon arrival. This update allows them to stay in Thailand longer without the need for prior visa application.
- 13 countries whose citizens previously received a 30-day entry stamp on arrival have had their stay extended to 60 days. This change provides more convenience and facilitation for visitors from these countries.
- 6 new countries have been added to the visa-free list, allowing their citizens to stay in Thailand for 60 days without a visa. This includes a diverse range of countries with which Thailand aims to enhance its tourism and diplomatic relations.
- 17 new countries are now eligible for visa on arrival, including Dominica, Jordan, and Morocco, where citizens can obtain a 60-day entry stamp upon arrival in Thailand.
Dominica’s citizenship by investment program is among the world’s best, offering numerous advantages such as visa-free entry to China, a 10-year renewable passport validity, the ability to transfer citizenship to newborns and future generations at a reasonable cost, and the presence of a Dominican embassy in the United Arab Emirates, facilitating logistical procedures related to dual citizenship for residents there and in the Arab world.
